Cat update

anna_wingToday the vet made a house call to vaccinate the Beastie Boys (her clinic has been closed because of the lockdown). While the SOP from last year was employed, we underestimated the effect of everyone wearing masks, and housekeeper made the mistake of bringing Bus-stop cat out first, because the other two heard him howling and get upset. Next year we shall revert to previous SOP and bring out Lap-cat first, since he is has the most sang-froid of all of them.
Both Bus-stop Cat and Scaredy-Cat, being big, strong cats, got out of the towel and had to be followed round the sitting-room until they calmed down enough to be approached and held down for the injections.
At least this year no-one was bleeding.
I did have to chivvy Lap-cat off my bed, because he has been known to protest-pee on pillows....
