COVID-19 - Mask wardrobe update
Jul. 2nd, 2020 11:28 amSince the whole of Asia is now waiting for the day that the UNIQLO Airism masks are on sale outside Japan and on-line (thus ensuring that Tadashi Yanai continues to be the richest mani n Japan for the foreseeable future), I thought it would be handy to share this article on the various other Japanese ingenuities available in the mask line:

I am certainly going to look into the Mizuno and Yonex offerings. The ones with the ice-pack slots sound fascinating, but might weigh too much to be comfortable for long. I have some nice, light, three-layer ones that a friend sent me from the ROK.
I should check if these companies are getting into gloves too. A lot of Japanese wear them against the sun, and for hygiene, so it's quite probable.
EDIT: Yonex and Mizuno are sports companies, so they do specialist sports gloves for golf, baseball etc. Not regular dress gloves. Too bad, but they're easy to find. Very popular for the UV conscious.
