It's spelt 'extraversion', The Guardian.

Also, you don't need an apostrophe when you are adding an 's' to make a plural. Or when you are adding 's' to 'it' to make the possessive of 'it'.

I believe it is academically acceptable to spell extraversion with or without the "o," but this is just wrong.

I believe "extroversion" is an accepted US spelling, but in the UK it was "extraversion", at least when I came across the concept lo these many decades ago, so The Guardian should jolly well have known better.

If it's a British-American distinction, I agree that is not the side of the Atlantic I would have expected the Guardian to fall on.

The random insertion or deletion of apostrophes without regard for the distinction among contractions, plurals and possessives is a horrible thing, and everywhere.

I saw one in an advertisement on the side of van a few days ago: it was a kind of mashed-up plural possessive. It was not cool.
