Oh yes, that marvellous feeling, which I vaguely feel is like foraging, of having stumbled across something good and unexpected. Like a hunter gatherer stumbling across a patch of trees laden with ripe cherries!

I'm still buying furniture from charity shops now. Given that my house is usually fuller of animals than money, it seems daft to buy new. I'm sitting in a great charity shop armchair to type this (sadly, Fankil cat has already found a spot to scratch it, so it will not keep the previous owners' pristine appearance long)
